Rehearsal at Unknown Location August 9, 1992 - From the Chen Collection

This rare 1992 studio rehearsal recording by Steve Perry, vocalist for Journey in their heyday in the 1970s and 1980s, is here for the first time! This slightly distorted, stereo soundboard recording of a studio rehearsal was discovered in the archives of bassist Phil Chen, known for his work with Jeff Beck, Rod Stewart, and numerous other session and touring bands. The recordings span approximately 90 minutes and were recorded prior to Perry's solo album, Strange Medicine, released in 1994 after leaving Journey. The recordings include "Listen to Your Heart," which appeared on the album, as well as Journey tracks like "Send Her My Love" and "Faith Free."
