This release features a complete, high-quality recording of the January 18, 2012, New York concert—part of a tour that consisted of only four shows following the release of the album *Immortal Soul*, making it a truly rare document today.

*Immortal Soul* was released in 2011, featuring the same lineup that created the classic album *Thundersteel*. However, just before the tour began, the band faced a crisis when leader Mark Reale suffered a subarachnoid hemorrhage and fell into a coma. Consequently, the tour proceeded with a four-piece lineup—Mike Flyntz, Tony Moore, Don Van Stavern, and Bobby Jarzombek—without Mark.
This release captures the tour's opening night in New York with superb audio quality and also includes video footage of six songs. While the video quality varies, the audio has been replaced with the aforementioned high-quality source, ensuring a thoroughly enjoyable viewing experience. The content is superb—surpassing expectations—with Tony showcasing vocal prowess that rivals his studio recordings, and the band delivering a remarkably rich sound despite Mark's absence. Also noteworthy is the guest appearance of former member Rick Ventura on the tracks "Warrior" and "Swords and Tequila."

Tragically, Mark passed away on the 25th—just one week later—and with the subsequent departures of Tony and Bobby, this marked the final release under the Riot name; it is, therefore, an essential item that fans simply cannot afford to miss.
