This release features complete recordings of the 2008 Japan tour by the "Modfather" himself, Paul Weller—who visited to promote his new album *22 Dreams*. It captures two shows with stunning, high-fidelity audio that delivers incredible power and a vivid sense of being there: his only headline show in Tokyo on August 7th and his performance at Summer Sonic Osaka on August 9th! The Tokyo recording, in particular, offers a goosebump-inducing atmosphere fueled by the enthusiastic roar of the crowd! As a limited bonus, a DVD featuring audience-shot footage of the Summer Sonic Osaka set—complete with effective use of camera zoom—is included. While it is a 30-minute digest, this rare footage of his latest tour is sure to delight fans! As for the content, we can confidently say these are his best performances to date in terms of both setlist and execution. The show features tracks from the new album alongside classics from The Jam and The Style Council; the energy remains high and the performance dynamic from start to finish—simply magnificent!
