This release captures the KISS concert held on September 5, 1977, at the Tarrant County Convention Center in Fort Worth, Texas, during the *Love Gun* tour. This tour followed their first-ever Japanese performances in March and the release of *Love Gun*, the band's biggest hit album to date. The setlist blends tracks from *Rock and Roll Over* and *Love Gun*, allowing listeners to fully experience the raw, unbridled energy characteristic of the band during this specific era. Three tracks from the performance at the same venue on the previous day (September 4) are included as bonus tracks, sourced from a soundboard (SBD) recording. The release utilizes a soundboard source—likely one that originated from an insider leak—delivering consistently high audio quality.
