Following the massive success of the album *Animalize* and the release of its follow-up, *Asylum*—a period that marked a prime moment in the band's mid-era—the group, now featuring guitarist Bruce Kulick, embarked on a tour. During this phase, the band performed without their signature makeup, and the setlist leaned toward a faster-paced, high-energy sound. The performance captured here is exceptional, boasting a solid, consistent sound throughout. As a bonus, the release includes 11 tracks from a 1984 live show in Ipswich, England, sourced from a soundboard (SBD) recording; listeners can enjoy unique details, such as variations in the opening intros. While the soundboard source occasionally exhibits some minor distortion, the overall audio quality remains consistently high and enjoyable.
