This tour took place shortly after the release of Michael Jackson’s global smash-hit album, *Thriller*. As Michael did not embark on a solo tour of his own, The Jacksons’ "Victory Tour" served as the only opportunity to witness his performances during his absolute prime—a tour that also garnered significant attention for being promoted by Don King.
This "Definitive Edition"—a deluxe 3-disc set—captures that legendary performance from the October show in Toronto, Canada, featuring the best-ever stereo soundboard audio and HD-remastered footage. Presented on a 2-disc CDR set, this release features an ultimate sound quality with unparalleled depth and a three-dimensional feel—far surpassing any previous versions—achieved by centering Michael’s vocals and creating an exceptional stereo soundstage for the backing vocals and instrumentation.
The accompanying video has also been fully remastered in HD using the latest technology, with the original audio replaced by this superior, high-fidelity sound source.
This performance is of great historical significance: it features Jermaine Jackson (who was with Motown at the time) and marks the final appearance of the group with both the Jacksons and the original Jackson 5 lineup. It also served as the foundational blueprint for Michael’s subsequent solo tours.
Experience the Victory Tour like never before with these top-tier, upgraded audio and visual presentations.
