This release features a soundboard recording of the concert held on November 15, 1976, at the Convention Center in Dallas, Texas, during the US tour supporting *No Reason to Cry*—one of his early masterpieces. Although *No Reason to Cry* was produced with the participation of many musicians, Eric himself was highly satisfied with the result; he performs new tracks like "Hello Old Friend" and "Sign Language" with a deep, soulful conviction that clearly conveys his own contentment with the material. While this item does not contain the complete concert, the performance is so outstanding that the included tracks alone offer a deeply satisfying listening experience. He delivers magnificent guitar solos on hits like "Badge" and "Layla," with the high-energy, fast-paced playing on "Layla" capturing the quintessential spirit of the 1970s. Regarding sound quality, although it originates from an FM broadcast source (captured via soundboard), the audio has been expertly edited to remove mid-song banter, resulting in a very smooth and enjoyable listening experience.
