An ultra-rare recording from Tago Mago Records—released only on an indie-label cassette, despite predating Can's first official album. While not a major-label release, it is an official one, and the sound quality is superb thanks to direct mastering from the original cassette. Recordings of Can from this period are not available on their official albums, making this a truly precious and magnificent find. Malcolm Mooney had not yet joined the band; this captures the "primal Can" universe unfolding through the four original members alone. It features a series of experimental endeavors distinct from the primitive funk of the Malcolm era or the ambient-leaning improvisations of the Damo era.
