While recordings of Boston's 1979 debut Japan tour—specifically the Budokan shows—have existed previously, no recordings of the Osaka performances had ever surfaced until now. This release is a "first" in every sense: it captures the opening night of that debut tour, features a previously unreleased recording, and documents a performance that has never been heard before. It offers a rare opportunity to experience a significant piece of history for the first time. To reiterate, this is a recording that has never circulated before.
