This is a collector's item featuring a soundboard (SB) recording of a live performance in Boston, captured shortly after Ronnie James Dio rejoined Black Sabbath in 1992. Following Ozzy Osbourne's departure, Dio—the former Rainbow vocalist who helped usher in a spectacular "second golden age" for the band—delivers a high-energy performance packed with smash hits like "Paranoid." The set, including the encores, is captured in its entirety via a soundboard recording; while live recordings from the Ozzy Osbourne era are plentiful on the market, this 1992 recording from just after Dio's return is a rare and highly valuable find. Dio appears much more relaxed than during his Rainbow days, exuding the poise of a seasoned veteran vocalist, and the rest of the band also delivers a fantastic, high-energy performance.
