Aerosmith - Roar Of The Dragon Tour 1999-2000: This DVD features a professional-shot recording of the band's New Year's Eve countdown concert, spanning December 31, 1999, to January 1, 2000. Following their 1998 visit to Japan, the band returned in December 1999 for this special run of shows. The members were clearly in high spirits as they approached the turn of the millennium. The footage captures the countdown, a birthday celebration for bassist Tom Hamilton shared with the audience, and a truly moving moment at the stroke of midnight when the band's family members joined them on stage, uniting the entire venue to welcome the new year. With a fantastic setlist, this is an incredibly enjoyable concert film. The video quality is derived from a professional-shot source. As the original footage dates back to the era of analog broadcasting—meaning it was captured in an analog aspect ratio—extensive restoration work has been performed. To present this in a widescreen format, the original footage is layered over a blurred, expanded version of the same imagery, allowing for a dynamic and immersive viewing experience.
