This release captures Van Halen’s 1984 U.S. tour. It took place during the promotional cycle for the album *1984*—the final record to feature vocalist David Lee Roth, who would depart in the spring of 1985, making this his last tour with the band. With all of their previous albums having been massive hits, the shows were consistently sold out; the intense energy from the audiences makes this a quintessential rock concert recording.
