Treat, the titans of Nordic melodic hard rock, returned to Japan for the first time in about a year and a half to tour behind their album *Tunguska*! This release captures their October 6, 2018, Osaka performance in its entirety with incredibly high sound quality, delivering massive impact and a vivid sense of presence! While the ultra-low frequencies are slightly noisy due to the PA output, the recording perfectly recreates the blissful live experience with the direct feel unique to a small venue, realistic and clear vocals and instrumentation, and excellent stereo imaging. The atmosphere and the sense of unity between the band and the audience are simply irresistible! Naturally, it features the meticulous mastering characteristic of the Sylph label—an outstanding release guaranteed to get you fired up! The live setlist is a dynamic, up-to-the-minute mix featuring five tracks from the album *Tunguska*, three from the previous release, and a selection of classic hits! The chemistry with bassist Pontus has reached a new level of power, and the stage presence—masterfully executed with the seasoned touch only veterans possess—is outstanding. Perhaps because the rhythm section is so incredibly potent, Anders' guitar sound occasionally feels a bit low in the mix; however, Robert’s vocals are in fine form, and you are guaranteed to be blown away by a flood of melodic tracks that are both catchy and tinged with melancholy. The massive sing-along during "Build the Love" and the call-and-response with the fans are also highlights!
Presented by the Sylph label with stunning cover art and superb sound quality, this is the definitive release for reliving the Osaka show—a must-have memorial item for fans!
