Direct transfer from the original analog tapes (2026)

A rare collection of audio sourced from the original UK and US analog tapes of *Let It Be*—The Beatles' final studio album from 1970—arrives from the BEATFILE label! This release features direct transfers of the UK stereo compact cassette (released in the 70s) and the US stereo 8-track cartridge. The UK cassette source material consists of the original pre-remaster mixes—digitally transferred rather than dubbed from vinyl—offering a natural sound quality distinct from that of the LP. In contrast, the US 8-track stereo cartridge source featured in the latter half delivers the dynamic, punchy sound characteristic of US releases, clearly highlighting the differences between the two editions. Both versions also feature unique tracklist variations necessitated by format duration limits; the fact that the running orders differ from the original LPs makes them fascinating rarities unique to the analog tape era.
