Rare Extra Tracks 1980–1993

Mark Reale—guitarist and leader of Riot, a titan of authentic heavy metal and hard rock—has sadly passed away; the shock of his loss is profound, and his contributions to music are immeasurable. This release compiles his lesser-known works, allowing us to look back on his history in chronological order. This memorial release offers content that will satisfy even the most dedicated fans, including alternate versions found only on early singles never issued on CD; live tracks; 1985 demo recordings by Narita (the band Mark formed after Riot disbanded); demos for *The Privilege of Power* featuring a cover of Judas Priest’s "Exciter"; the so-called "Trant Sessions" recorded in 1992 with former Jag Panzer vocalist Harry Conklin prior to Mark DiMeo joining the band; and the completely unreleased track "Sylvia," leaked by former manager and producer Steve Loeb.
