This release captures the Rainbow performance from January 24, 1978, at the Kooriyama Shimin Kaikan in Kooriyama, Fukushima. Marking the 11th show of their Japan tour, this recording offers a truly authentic live experience—warts and all. The band faced poor conditions, including a limited setlist and PA system malfunctions; notably, the performance of "Mistreated" had to be interrupted shortly after starting because persistent noise could not be resolved. Despite these issues, the actual musicianship throughout the show is solid. Furthermore, as the band's first-ever concert in Fukushima Prefecture, this release holds significant rarity value and comes highly recommended. The audio is an audience recording that delivers a stable, high-quality sound, capturing a great sense of immediacy and atmosphere.
