"A Night at the Opera"—a historic masterpiece acclaimed as the pinnacle of early Queen. Released as an anniversary edition following the album's 50th anniversary last year, this title comes in two distinct versions: "Silver" and "Gold." The *A Night at the Opera* Anniversary Silver Edition features, on CD 1, the complete album newly edited from the original multitracks into a "Multiplex Stereo Remix"—a mix that renders vocals and individual instruments with greater clarity. The latter half of the disc includes studio outtakes and previously unreleased material—sourced from Sarm Studios "Ruff Mix" reels—covering tracks such as "The Prophet's Song" (originally titled "People of the Earth"), "Love of My Life," and "Good Company," as well as audio documenting the production process of "Bohemian Rhapsody." CD 1 also presents "Elemental/Naked Mixes," reconstructing the album in a stripped-down, pre-overdub state; these mixes isolate specific elements from the multitrack recordings—such as isolated lead vocals, versions without backing vocals, or backing tracks featuring only guitar and piano—thereby highlighting sounds that are usually buried in the final mix. The "Remix and Alternates" section that follows includes further outtakes and alternate versions not found on the original album. Together with the simultaneously released "Gold" Edition, this newly compiled alternate collection offers a fresh way to fully appreciate the masterpiece *A Night at the Opera*, revealing new discoveries and subtle differences.

"A Night at the Opera" is a historic masterpiece acclaimed as the pinnacle of early Queen. To mark the 50th anniversary celebrated last year, this release comes in two distinct editions: "Silver" and "Gold." The *A Night at the Opera* Anniversary Gold Edition is a 2-disc set (CD + DVD) featuring the "original analog master" on the CD. It captures the ultimate master tape sound, remaining faithful to the original audio from 50 years ago. Unlike previous digital remasters, this release restores the sound intended at the time of the original launch, offering an audio source that perfectly reproduces the analog master—distinct from the various vinyl pressings or standard digital remasters. The latter part of the disc compiles single edits and remixes that were not included on the original album. The DVD serves as a "Complete Video Album," visualizing every track on the record; this is a newly updated version featuring edits that differ from previous releases of this kind. The "Multi-Select Audio Album" section allows viewers to choose from four audio options while watching the lyrics on screen: the "Anniversary New Stereo Mix," "Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround," and newly edited, sonically upgraded "Instrumental Backing Tracks" and "Vocal-Only Tracks." Additionally, the "Video Collection" gathers various versions and promotional clips of the masterpiece "Bohemian Rhapsody." Offering new discoveries and unique variations, this newly edited alternate collection—released alongside the "Silver" edition—allows fans to fully enjoy the classic album *A Night at the Opera*.
