Long live the rock star, Prince! II
A complete recording of the November 26, 2002, Fukuoka show from the "One Nite Alone" Japan tour—sadly his final tour there—captured in superb, high-fidelity sound that delivers incredible impact and a true "you-are-there" atmosphere!
Since the setlist varied significantly from show to show, this performance is packed with highlights. As the tour was nearing its end, the song selection had evolved, and on this particular night, Prince’s way of hyping up the crowd was absolutely intense. He repeatedly shouted "Fukuoka!!" throughout the show—it was impossible for the local fans not to get fired up! At the very end, the house lights came on, but Prince returned to the stage to perform "Last December" with just an acoustic guitar. Spanning two and a half hours, this funky, sensual, and deeply moving performance is nothing short of spectacular! This is undoubtedly a precious, tear-jerking release that allows you to fully savor a wealth of masterpieces! The Sylph label presents a must-have memorial item for fans, delivering the emotion and excitement of that time with stunning cover art and superb sound quality!!

Review from a specialized magazine:
As with *Everlasting One*, the sound quality is that of a remarkably clear audience recording. While recordings of the Fukuoka show had previously been limited to the level of fan-made bootlegs, this release finally brings it to the light of day. On this particular date, the band performed cover songs that were relatively rare for the "One Nite Alone" tour. The first is "Push and Pull" (found in the latter half of Disc 1, Track 6), a cover of a Nikka Costa song. It kicks off with a guitar solo by Prince; compared to the original, the performance takes on a more melancholic atmosphere. However, the song feels somewhat out of place within the setlist, serving primarily to highlight the exceptional technical prowess of The New Power Generation.
The second cover appears on Disc 2—a rendition of a song originally released by The Commodores in 1977. It showcases a "Prince-style" groove with a heavy emphasis on the bass. Additionally, Disc 2 features a sequence of bass-heavy tracks; these are all familiar favorites to fans, and the crowd's enthusiastic response is palpable. Then, for the encore (Disc 2, Track 13), they perform an acoustic version. It is heartwarming to hear the audience erupt with excitement, as if they had been waiting specifically for this moment. This release comes highly recommended for anyone who attended the Fukuoka show or wishes to hear the acoustic version of "Last December."
