A complete recording of Paul Weller's April 9, 2009 Osaka performance from his Japan tour, captured in superb high-fidelity sound that delivers incredible impact and a vivid sense of being there! While the PA balance was a bit problematic during his 2008 visit to Japan, this time the sound is absolutely spot-on! Centered on tracks from the new album *22 Dreams*—with setlists varying by show—this tour saw a unique Weller-style cover of Marvin Gaye’s "How Sweet It Is." The encore brought out The Style Council’s "Shout to the Top," and the finale featured a special, one-night-only performance of The Jam’s "Eton Rifles"! That powerful, cool finale was truly superb.
During the mid-show acoustic set, they even broke into The Who’s "Magic Bus," and there was a segment where each of the four band members performed a song while playing acoustic guitar—offering a live experience with a fresh twist compared to previous tours. The crowd was electric, and Weller himself was in high spirits from start to finish, delivering a top-notch performance. This is a must-hear, memorable release that fans simply cannot miss!
