This release features a complete recording of the Brighton concert held on December 29, 1994—the second-to-last show of the year. Meg Mathews, who would later marry Noel, had joined the tour by this point.
Before the concert that day, while Noel was showering, Meg was ironing a shirt for him to wear. Seeing this, Noel remarked, "What's the point of ironing a dirty shirt?" That brief exchange evidently left a strong impression on him; before performing "Talk Tonight" during the show, he dedicated the song to "a certain woman who wears a dirty shirt—she knows who she is." A woman wearing a dirty shirt... Yes, this very moment on this day was the inspiration for the song "The Girl In The Dirty Shirt," featured on the album *Be Here Now*.

The set opens with "Rock 'n' Roll Star." While the show was originally scheduled to conclude with "I Am The Walrus," the band—riding a wave of high energy—responded to calls for an encore by playing "Rock 'n' Roll Star" a second time to close out the concert.

Bonus tracks include three acoustic songs from an in-store performance at Sunrise Records in Toronto on October 19, 1994. Also included are six songs from the Amsterdam show on November 25, 1994, originally broadcast on FM radio.
