The leading cause of death in Japan is malignant neoplasms—commonly known as cancer—with one in four people dying from the disease. Cancer is understood to develop through the accumulation of multiple abnormalities in specific regions of DNA, meaning that everyone carries an inherent risk. Its onset is often a matter of chance, affecting not only the elderly but also young people and even newborns—a reality shared by countries worldwide. The UK-based Teenage Cancer Trust is a charity dedicated to improving the situation for young people with cancer. Its activities include equipping hospital facilities for cancer patients and training specialized staff. As part of its fundraising efforts, the organization regularly hosts concerts featuring prominent artists who support its cause. Oasis has been a regular performer at these events, and even after the band's breakup, both Liam and Noel have continued to appear as solo artists. Noel’s performance history is as follows: OASIS

Oasis performed at the Teenage Cancer Trust concerts on three occasions: 2002, 2003, and 2007. The 2007 appearance was an extension of the acoustic tour undertaken by Noel and Gem following the release of *Stop the Clocks*; consequently, they performed an acoustic set rather than appearing as the full band. While the "Stop the Clocks" tour—held to support the Oasis greatest hits album—was billed under the name "Noel Gallagher & Gem from Oasis," the 2007 Teenage Cancer Trust (TCT) performance was credited solely to Noel.

This release features a complete, high-quality recording of the 2015 Teenage Cancer Trust concert, which marked the event's 15th anniversary. As the aforementioned list indicates, this release completes the collection of Noel's TCT performances available on the Bayswater label. Since the show took place during the tour for his second album, *Chasing Yesterday*, the setlist mirrors that tour's repertoire. His rendition of "Champagne Supernova," backed by a rich, powerful choir, is breathtakingly beautiful. The sounds of a woman singing along happily in the audience, a man shouting "Come on!" during the key change, and the spontaneous applause following the guitar solo—none of these feel like mere noise; instead, they blend seamlessly with the performance, creating a truly moving and beautiful experience.

Three live sets are included as bonus tracks: four songs from a radio appearance on November 24, 2014; one song from an Irish TV show on February 28, 2015; and three songs from an appearance on *Later... with Jools Holland* on April 21, 2015. All these performances took place around the same time as the TCT show, making them ideal bonus material.

This release combines the March 28, 2015 Teenage Cancer Trust concert—appearing here for the first time—with live performances from radio and television appearances around that same period. It is deeply satisfying to see the TCT series on Bayswater come to completion in this way. While an Oasis reunion concert would certainly be a welcome event, one hopes that the High Flying Birds project will not disappear but will continue alongside Oasis as a distinct endeavor for Noel. A beautifully designed picture disc—a solid, high-quality pressing made to last a lifetime.
