This incredibly rare live performance from the early days of National Health is now available in a definitive sound, remastered by the legendary Hannibal label! This is a true fan delight, offering superb soundboard recordings of the February 14, 1976, London show and the February 22, 1976, Dundee show, both performed by Bill Bruford. Both performances are digitally remastered in 24-bit, making this a true treat for fans.
While the only female performer, Amanda Parsons, is absent from the London show on Disc 1 due to illness, Canterbury rock legend Steve Hillage makes a guest appearance, providing a unique live sound. A shortened version of this London performance has previously been available, but this time the master version is being released for the first time, and the latest remastering has resulted in a dramatic improvement in sound quality.
Disc 2 features the Dundee performance, recorded about a week later, with Amanda back in good health and singing beautifully, and the rhythm section, led by Bill Bruford and Mont Campbell, who was about to leave the company, delivers a dynamic performance unique to this period.
