This recording is from the “Get Lucky World Tour 2010,” held on April 11 at the Hult Center in Eugene, Oregon, to promote the release of his sixth solo album, “Get Lucky.” You can enjoy a wonderful live performance that showcases the further maturity of Mark Knopfler, the sound creator behind Dire Straits. As this was his first new album in two years since his previous solo release, Mark Knopfler himself was highly energized. He performed four songs from the new album *Get Lucky*—“Border Reiver,” “Remembrance Day,” “Get Lucky,” and “Piper to the End”—in a setlist that blended new and old hits. Multiinstrumentalist Tim O’Brien joined as a guest for part of the show, adding a special touch. It’s a truly enjoyable live performance. Although the sound quality is an audience recording, the balance is excellent, the tone adjustment is natural, and the sound is clear and easy to listen to, with no muffled tones.
