MADONNA / TRUE BLUE
: 40th ANNIVERSARY II EXPANDED EDITION
[2CD] THE IMMACULATE MASTERS - MDTIMCD007D1/D2

This is the second 40th Anniversary Edition release for *True Blue*—the third album that showcased the full potential of Madonna at the height of her 1980s global success. This volume features a wealth of material not included in the first installment, ranging from 12-inch versions, extended mixes, long versions, and remixes to hard-to-find promotional edits and previously unreleased tracks. CD 1, titled "Anniversary Edition Extended Remixes," presents alternative versions of every song on the album, plus extra tracks: "Spotlight" (which did not appear on the original album), a 1985 demo version of "Open Your Heart," and an early mix of the same track. CD 2, "More Extended & Rarities," includes extended mixes of four tracks from her subsequent soundtrack album, *Who's That Girl*, as well as "Scheherazade"—a track featuring an uncredited appearance by Peter Cetera—along with various other versions never officially released. This 2026 collection serves as the second installment in the 40th-anniversary celebration of *True Blue*, an album widely regarded as one of Madonna’s greatest masterpieces from the 1980s.
