Kate Bush was never particularly keen on live performances; she only undertook tours twice—in 1979 and 2014. This release features footage centered on a concert held in Germany during her 1979 "Tour of Life." It is a television special that aired in Germany in April 1980, incorporating documentary segments and interviews.

The concert footage is compiled from performances in Hamburg (April 28, 1979) and Mannheim (May 8, 1979). These are distinct from the well-known shows at the Hammersmith Odeon or in Manchester; they feature different camera work and offer a rare, exclusive look at her German performances.

Most notably, this release boasts exceptional picture quality, sourced directly from the original broadcast master. Far superior to the degraded versions often found on YouTube—which may suffer from poor resolution or visible scan lines at the bottom of the screen—this edition presents the footage in stunning, high-quality clarity.

Allowing you to fully enjoy Kate’s 1979 stage show—infused with theatrical elements—this release is an essential addition to any collection. You’ll find yourself wanting to wave your arms in circles right along with her as she sings "Wuthering Heights." This is a high-quality, professionally pressed disc, featuring a beautiful picture-disc design—a definitive, "must-keep" edition for your collection.
