This release features a live performance by the Hollywood Vampires at the Fillmore Auditorium in Denver, CO, on May 14, 2019, during their 2019 American tour. The tour, which began on May 10, served to promote their new album *Rise* (released in June); this recording captures the fourth show of that tour. With a new studio album—their first since their 2015 debut—on the horizon, the high level of motivation among the band members on stage comes through clearly. Although Johnny Depp initially felt some nervousness on stage and rarely took on lead vocal duties, he has clearly gained confidence as a musician; he now handles lead vocals on two tracks, contributing to a highly entertaining setlist. The performance features six songs from the new album, *Rise*, alongside a selection of familiar favorites, making for a superb rock show. The recording is an audience source of excellent quality, offering great clarity and a vivid sense of presence—delivering a consistently high-quality listening experience.
