This release compiles Grand Funk's US tours from 1971, 1972, and 1974. From their early days as a trio to the sound that defined their 1974 peak, this collection captures a raw, intense energy unique to that era—a true treat for any rock fan. Mark Farner’s vocals—which feel like an impassioned cry—paired with his guitar work, still resonate deeply nearly half a century later. One cannot help but take one’s hat off to the distinct brand of American rock 'n' roll that only this band could deliver. The massive hit "Heartbreaker" is sure to get your heart racing. As for the sound quality, it is sourced from a soundboard (SBD) recording, ensuring a consistently high-quality listening experience.
