This CD contains a live recording of Eric Clapton's 1975 Australian tour performance at Festival Hall in Brisbane, Australia, on April 14th. This recording captures the first day of a performance in Australia, part of the Oceania tour that also served as promotion for the album "In Search of a Place of Rest." Eric and the other members were highly motivated, delivering a high-energy performance from start to finish. You can enjoy the abundance of improvisation and the incredible guitar work that can only be experienced at this stage in Eric's life at the age of 30. The sound quality is excellent, with an SBD source used for the final product. Hiss noise present in the master has been removed as much as possible, and tone balance and other issues have been repaired, resulting in a stable, high-quality sound.
