This release features a soundboard recording of the concert held at The Ritz in New York City on November 23, 1986, during the world tour following the release of the album *August*. The major surprise of the evening was the appearance of special guest Keith Richards of the Rolling Stones; he joined Eric to perform "Layla" and "Cocaine," contributing backing vocals with his signature gravelly voice and showcasing his guitar playing. While his guitar work is somewhat more restrained than his usual style with the Stones, the collaboration with EC is a true highlight.
