This recording captures the performance at the Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on December 7, 1981, marking Eric Clapton's third tour of Japan, which coincided with the release of the album *Another Ticket*. As a show held in the middle of the tour, the performance is superb, characterized by a lively and energetic atmosphere. The setlist includes "Blow Wind Blow" from the new *Another Ticket* album, and overall, the show features many up-tempo tracks, making for a very spirited and enjoyable concert. It feels like a time when he was fully free from drugs and in a very fulfilling phase of his life; Eric himself looks like he is truly having fun playing. He repeatedly says "Dōmo" (Thanks/Hello) during his stage banter—it is surprising to realize he was already using that phrase 30 years ago. Regarding sound quality: although it is an audience recording, the balance is excellent, making it a very easy-to-listen-to source. The performance of "Double Trouble" is truly moving.
