His first-ever solo tour of Japan—it’s still hard to believe!
A four-show tour took place starting April 14, 2026, covering Nagoya, Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo.
This release is a must-have for fans, featuring a complete, high-fidelity recording of the third show in Kyoto!

The three major highlights of the April 17, 2026 (Friday) performance at ROHM Theatre Kyoto were:

1. A brilliant cover of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt"—performed for the first time in eight years
The biggest surprise of the night was the performance of Nine Inch Nails' "Hurt" early in the set. It had been a full eight years since Eddie last performed this song live (since 2018). Before playing, Eddie expressed his gratitude to the song's creator, Trent Reznor, saying, "Lately, I've been thinking a lot about the loss of people close to me. At times like that, I find myself wanting to cling to music to help me get through it." He then captivated the entire venue with a raw, whispered vocal performance of breathtaking delicacy. 2. Charlie Chaplin’s "Smile"
While Pearl Jam also has a song titled "Smile," the version Eddie performed that day was the timeless classic composed by the legendary comedian Charlie Chaplin for the film *Modern Times*. With its cinematic quality—at once poignant and heartwarming—it was a song choice that perfectly matched the atmosphere of the Kyoto theater.
3. A Spontaneous Performance of "Imagine" by Fan Request
At the start of the encore, Eddie spontaneously performed John Lennon’s "Imagine" in response to enthusiastic requests from the audience. As he sang and played, a profound sense of unity swept through the entire venue, carrying a heartfelt prayer for peace.
As you can see, the performance is packed with highlights! Given that the setlists for the previously released Tokyo and Nagoya shows were quite similar, there had been high hopes for a release covering the regional tour dates, making this a truly welcome addition.
