Here is a flawless soundboard recording of the Carla Bley Band. Following the enthusiastic reception of our previous release, *Walking Woman*, we are proud to present another recording of the Carla Bley Band—this time capturing a live performance in Berlin on November 4, 1979.
This show took place two years prior to the recording of the official album *Carla Bley Live!* The audio quality is superb stereo soundboard. While it lacks the slightly "sketchy" underground vibe of the *Walking Woman* bootleg, this release is arguably more accessible and enjoyable for a wider audience.
Carla Bley’s genius shines brightest in her composition, arrangement, and structural concepts rather than just her piano playing. Supported by a powerhouse band, she delivers a diverse set ranging from jazz-rock numbers to pop-inflected tunes. This is an excellent title—highly recommended even as an introduction to Carla Bley’s music.
