This release captures the live performance from Black Sabbath's 1986 US tour at The Spectrum in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on April 12. Ray Gillen was hastily brought in to replace Glenn Hughes—the vocalist fired after the shortest tenure in the band's history. By this show—the eighth since Hughes's departure—the band had achieved a high level of cohesion and delivered a magnificent performance. Listeners can enjoy a stellar showcase from the young, talented vocalist Ray Gillen; furthermore, with the band operating so stably, the other members also deliver high-energy individual performances, making this a concert packed with highlights. The release also includes six "best take" bonus tracks from the April 18 San Antonio show, sourced from a soundboard recording. Regarding sound quality, it is an audience recording that reflects the era to some extent; despite the presence of audience noise, the recording is of high quality, offering a sense of realism and consistent clarity.
