This release features a performance from Van Halen’s 1984 U.S. tour. It took place during the tour for the album *1984*—the final record released while David Lee Roth was the band's vocalist—and serves as their last tour with him, as he departed in the spring of 1985. With all of their previous albums having been massive hits, shows were consistently sold out; the intense energy from the audience makes this a quintessential rock concert recording.
