*Necrophilia* is an unreleased compilation album originally planned as a follow-up to the 1971 release *Hot Rocks*. Although it was compiled in 1972 with the cooperation of former manager Andrew Loog Oldham, the release plan fell through due to various disagreements between Oldham and Allen Klein. The album is of great interest for its inclusion of rare tracks, such as "Andrew's Blues" and "Pay Your Dues" (an early version of "Street Fighting Man"). This release presents that unreleased album.
