This is the latest live recording from The Cure (as of September 2026), capturing their performance on the final day of a French music festival held from August 26th to 30th. While the audio quality has been enhanced through remastering, the original radio broadcast featured a French DJ chattering incessantly—often at a higher volume than Robert Smith—during song intros and outros, which was extremely distracting. Just as one became immersed in the magnificent performance, the DJ's voice would rudely pull the listener back to reality between songs. To prevent this mood-breaking interference, all DJ commentary has been removed. Please note that, unfortunately, this necessitated fading in or out on certain tracks. However, the listening experience is vastly superior to the original broadcast master containing the DJ's chatter. This latest live recording is a must-listen for fans, featuring songs from the acclaimed album *Songs of a Lost World*, released the year before last.
