Remixes and remasters compiled in 2026

★ First-time CD release of the 1976 compilation album *Rock 'n' Roll Music*, updated with newly edited, state-of-the-art remixes.
★ Includes a video album DVD featuring newly edited footage from various archives for every track on the album.
★ Also includes audio-only versions of the two distinct mixes released at the time—the US Capitol version and the original UK version—on the DVD.

The compilation album *Rock 'n' Roll Music* marks its 50th anniversary since its 1976 release. Originally conceived by US Capitol as a "best-of" collection focusing on the rock 'n' roll numbers that formed the Beatles' roots, it features a total of 28 tracks comprising a selection of iconic cover songs and original compositions. This release marks the album's debut on CD, featuring audio updated with a newly edited, state-of-the-art remix for its 50th Anniversary Edition. Unlike the U.S. Capitol version—which utilized the 1976 stereo mix where George Martin adjusted vocal and instrumental balances—this release has been revitalized with a fresh stereo remix derived from the original multitrack tapes. The accompanying DVD features a video album comprising all the tracks, newly edited using footage from a wide range of archives, including live performances, TV shows, newsreels, and rare film clips. This video album represents a brand-new 2026 edit, distinct from previous releases by the DAP label. Additionally, the DVD includes an audio album section, presenting the complete tracklist in two different mixes: the 1976 U.S. Capitol version (edited by George Martin) and the original U.K. version (featuring the 1960s stereo mixes), allowing listeners to compare the differences. Long out of print and never previously released on CD since the days of vinyl and tape, this album returns as the *Rock 'n' Roll Music* 50th Anniversary Edition—a must-have collector's item featuring completely revamped content.
