This is a stereo audience recording of a live performance at CBGB on July 31, 1976; the sound quality is exceptionally good considering the era. An improvised intro precedes the song "Friction," and it is so incredibly cool that I find myself listening to just that section over and over again. Furthermore, the sounds of the venue captured between songs—without any edits—offer a glimpse into the atmosphere of CBGB at the time.
