This release captures the performance from the October 9, 1995 show at the Philipshalle in Düsseldorf, Germany, part of Rainbow's European tour. This short European tour served to promote the album *Stranger in Us All* (released in August) and took place just prior to the start of the Japan tour in November. The performance recorded here marks the second night of the German leg; Ritchie Blackmore, who holds a deep personal attachment to Germany, delivers a high-energy performance, and the band is in excellent form, making for a highly enjoyable listening experience. The sound quality is derived from a broadcast source, offering stable, high-fidelity audio.
