This release features a complete recording of the final show of Queensrÿche's 2009 Japan tour—held on August 24th at Big Cat in Osaka—captured in impeccable, ultra-high audio quality. The band returned to Japan for the first time in two years to support *American Soldier*, a unique concept album based on the wartime experiences of soldiers. The recording delivers incredible impact and a vivid sense of presence, capturing every detail with stunning realism. The tour featured a three-part setlist structure: opening with the *Rage for Order* album, moving to the new *American Soldier* material, and concluding with *Empire*. With setlists varying by show, this performance offers a truly rewarding listening experience, notably featuring a performance of "Surgical Strike" exclusive to the Osaka date. The twin-guitar interplay between new guitarist Parker Lundgren and Michael Wilton is perfectly in sync! Jeff’s saxophone playing on "The Thin Line" is fantastic, too! As expected of a veteran band, their performance is consistently solid and perfectly captures the essence of the music—it is truly flawless. This latest live release is an absolute must-listen for fans!
