This latest collector's edition from the DAP label compiles special performances by Paul McCartney from 2007 to 2009, featuring soundboard audio and pro-shot video!
While the content of the CD audio and DVD video differs slightly, the collection begins with the special live performance from the "iTunes Festival" held in London on July 5, 2007. The CD features the longest available version of the performance, containing 13 tracks sourced from existing soundboard recordings, while the video component includes 11 tracks plus rehearsal footage. The subsequent "Brit Awards 2008" segment presents the complete version on video, including the award presentation and rehearsals. Also included is "Jools' Annual Hootenanny," broadcast during the 2007 New Year's Eve countdown; the video captures not only the performances—such as the duet of "Dance Tonight" with Kylie Minogue—but also the countdown itself and the show's finale. Furthermore, the release features "I Saw Her Standing There" (performed with Dave Grohl at the 2009 Grammy Awards) and the complete set—including rehearsals—from the 2009 "Children in Need" charity concert at London's Royal Albert Hall (a bonus exclusive to the DVD). Following titles like "Unplugged" and "Wings' Last Flight," this is the second release in the DAP label's latest series of audio-visual collector's editions, delivered as original pressings imported directly from overseas.
