Night Ranger—that treasure of American rock, beloved for their melodic, upbeat hard rock—returned to Japan for the first time in about three years! They arrived in support of their masterpiece album *Somewhere in California*, which marked a return to their roots and featured new member Eric Levy on keyboards.
This release captures their June 9, 2011, performance in Osaka in superb, high-fidelity sound that delivers incredible power and a vivid sense of presence! With the vocals of Jack and Kelly—as well as the twin-guitar leads—perfectly balanced and front-and-center, the sound quality is exceptional. This is guaranteed to get you fired up! The live set features a well-balanced mix of tracks from their latest release and classic hits. With highlights like "Coming of Age" (penned by Damjan) in the middle of the set, and the instrumental "L.A. No Name"—showcasing some truly mind-blowing acoustic guitar work—the band is in classic, full-throttle Night Ranger form; in a word: superb!! The band members are all smiles throughout, and the sense of unity with the audience is fantastic.

There are plenty of highlights to enjoy, including a clever interpolation of a phrase from "Hotel California" during "Don’t Tell Me You Love Me," along with various spontaneous, improvised arrangements. This highly acclaimed tour delivered such a stellar performance that it’s an absolute must-listen for any fan—a definitive, essential addition to your collection!!!
This is a commemorative release that brings all that excitement and emotion vividly back to life!!
