The "God" returns! After sending Tokyo and Osaka into a frenzy this past January with his "My Years with UFO" tour, Michael Schenker is back in Japan in October 2026—this time with a revamped MSG lineup featuring his longtime collaborator from the 80s and 90s, Robin McAuley, on vocals!
This definitive release captures the final night of his two-show Japanese run—a standalone concert held on October 26 at Zepp Namba—in stunning, high-quality sound that rivals a professional stereo soundboard recording.

This Osaka performance—the only standalone show of this return tour—was met with an electric, high-energy atmosphere. It is presented here in its entirety, captured via a multi-source stereo IEM matrix recording by the renowned XAVEL label. Free from the click tracks or guide cues often found in IEM (in-ear monitor) feeds, this live recording centers on the commanding, iconic guitar work of "The God" himself—Michael Schenker—and the powerful vocals of Robin McAuley, who shows no signs of his age (now over 70). The mix masterfully blends a pristine stereo line feed—capturing every instrument in perfect balance—with a superb audience recording that fully conveys the electric atmosphere of the venue.

As the opening show of the "Don’t Sell Your Soul" world tour, this Yokohama performance drew the attention of Michael Schenker fans across the globe. Contrary to expectations that the setlist might lean heavily on the McAuley Schenker Group (MSG) era, that phase is largely set aside in favor of a packed selection of tracks from the "golden age" of MSG—spanning the Gary Barden and Graham Bonnet eras.

Fans of the band will be especially thrilled by Robin McAuley’s powerful and rock-solid delivery of the classic hits from the Barden era. While Ronnie Romero did not make a guest appearance at this Yokohama show, Robin delivered a truly phenomenal vocal performance on "Assault Attack." With a setlist that differs entirely from the UFO self-cover tour held in January, this current tour serves as the perfect complement, completing the full narrative arc of this musical journey.
