This release captures the performance from Led Zeppelin's January 18, 1975 show at the Met Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. The 1975 tour ran from January through May; this recording documents the very first show of that tour. While the band does not seem to have fully hit their stride yet—and Robert, in particular, does not appear to be in top form—Jimmy steps up to compensate, and one can directly appreciate his careful, deliberate playing style. The setlist itself is compelling, making for a highly enjoyable concert overall. Regarding sound quality, the release utilizes a soundboard (SBD) source, with audience (Aud) source patches filling in the gaps where the line recording was missing, resulting in a complete recording. Listeners can enjoy consistently high audio quality.
