This release features a complete recording—with astonishingly high-quality sound—of the September 1st show at Ariake Arena, the band's only standalone concert during their 2026 Japan tour. Brought to you by the renowned XAVEL label, this is a multi-source stereo IEM matrix recording. The sound quality is overwhelming, surpassing even the releases from their previous 50th-anniversary tour! Click tracks and guide vocals have been edited out as much as possible, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable listening experience from start to finish.

This was the long-awaited standalone show by Journey, visiting Japan as part of their "THE FINAL FRONTIER" farewell tour. Freed from the constraints and time limits of a festival setting, the band carried the momentum from their Fukuoka performance into an even longer, "monster" show exceeding two hours and twenty minutes.
In addition to rare tracks like "Of a Lifetime" and "Suzanne"—which electrified the crowd in Fukuoka—this exclusive standalone concert featured "Line of Fire" and "Mother, Father," along with hidden gems from their classic 80s albums *Escape* and *Frontiers*.

Naturally, the show also featured a refined version of the surprise appearance by Hugo Valenti—the Steve Perry lookalike who stunned audiences at the Fukuoka festival—showcasing a multi-vocalist setup. Following the massive response in Fukuoka, Hugo returned to the stage at Ariake Arena for "Faithfully" and an additional performance of "Keep On Runnin'." With a look and high-register voice that perfectly mirrored Steve Perry in his 80s prime, he transported the entire arena back in time, creating a moving moment that brought long-time fans to tears—a true highlight of the live concert experience.

Making even their passionate performance at the Fukuoka festival feel like a mere "prelude," the Ariake Arena show unfolded as a flawless, lavish rock spectacle destined to be etched deeply into the history of their farewell tour. The included DVD is a must-see production that captures the entire live performance using multiple camera angles, centered on original footage from the massive screen installed at the venue.
