This recording captures Eric Clapton's live performance at the HP Pavilion in San Jose, California, on March 2, 2011, during his US tour. It marks the third concert of the tour, which began on the US mainland in Seattle on February 26. With the UK leg of the tour set to start in April, this performance finds the band firing on all cylinders—right in the middle of the eight-show US run. The band displays excellent chemistry and cohesion throughout the set. While "Crossroads" had previously been the standard encore, this show features a performance of Eric's classic "Further On Up The Road," making it a must-listen. Regarding sound quality: although it is an audience recording, it is very easy to listen to, featuring a natural sound without excessive tone manipulation. It avoids the excessive reverberation often found in large venues, offering a pleasant listening experience with just the right amount of live atmosphere.
