This is a concert recording featuring the duo of Brad Mehldau and Christian McBride. The master source is a soundboard recording that was originally broadcast on FM radio. As the audio quality was excellent from the start, no equalization adjustments were necessary. Processing included hiss noise reduction and a boost in output level; additionally, unnatural edits—likely caused by the removal of DJ commentary—were re-edited and corrected. The French translation that had been overlaid on McBride's English speech made the audio difficult to follow, so that portion was removed. The set consists primarily of covers spanning various genres, including songs that should be familiar even to rock fans.
