Bloc Party is a new-generation guitar band that burst onto the scene in 2004 and performed at Summer Sonic the very month after their album debut. This live performance focuses on tracks from their second album—released early this year—and features production by Jacknife Lee (known for his work with U2 and Snow Patrol). The set kicks off with the first two tracks in their original album order, building anticipation, and when "The Prayer"—a song still frequently played on the radio—begins, you’ll find yourself instinctively rising from your seat.
