This release features a complete, ultra-high-quality audience recording of YES’s three-night run in Tokyo during their 2012 Japan tour. All three shows are captured in superb audio quality, sourced from the label’s original high-grade masters and enhanced with 24-bit digital remastering—an essential item for any fan.
The tour featured members from the *Drama* era—Chris Squire, Steve Howe, Alan White, and Geoff Downes—and the setlist offers a comprehensive overview of the band’s 40-plus-year history. It spans classic 1970s tracks like "Starship Trooper" and "Roundabout," 1980s hits such as "Owner Of A Lonely Heart," and the title suite from their then-latest album, *Fly From Here*. Of particular note is lead vocalist Jon Davison, who stepped in on short notice to replace Benoît David; his high-pitched vocals and stage presence are reminiscent of a young Jon Anderson—a performance sure to satisfy even the most long-time fans. This is a great-value 6-disc set that includes the three titles "Fly From East #1," "Fly From East #2," and "Fly From East #3."
