This release marks the first-ever appearance of a complete soundboard recording of the Thin Lizzy reunion concert held in Dublin, Ireland, on January 4, 1996—an event commemorating the 10th anniversary of Phil Lynott's passing.
The lineup featured the same five members as the 1994 Japan tour: John Sykes, Scott Gorham, Brian Downey, Darren Wharton, and Marco Mendoza. Musicians influenced by Thin Lizzy—including Def Leppard's Joe Elliott and Rick Savage, Henry Rollins, and Therapy?—joined in on various tracks to energize this historic event. Until now, the only available soundboard recordings from this reunion era were from the Japan tour; the arrival of this special concert—captured in soundboard quality—is a release that will surely bring tears of joy to fans.

The recording is simply a direct audio transfer from the existing video, with no attempt to clean up the soundtrack. There is a constant noise carried over from the original video that makes it unbearable to listen to, and I feel this should have been disclosed. Yes, the original video recording uses a soundboard feed, but this release is just a straight transfer from the existing DVD/video, complete with that persistent noise. Very disappointing.
On top of that, there isn’t even any artwork inside the CD booklet—just the front and back covers. For a supposedly “limited edition” of 100 copies, this is honestly a joke.
